Reminder to families to register for the
2022-2023 school year!
Kindergarten Registration
Packets are available by request via the elementary school offices
(contact information listed below) or the district website at
https://www.waterfordschools.org/parents_family/information/registration_forms
To assist in projecting enrollment for the 2022-2023
school year, parents are asked to return registration paperwork as soon as
possible. For pertinent information
regarding Kindergarten registration as well as Elementary Schools by Street, please see the Waterford Public Schools Website.
Documentation required for Kindergarten
registration includes:
- Child’s Birth Certificate - Connecticut law requires public schools to be open to all children who reach the age of 5 on or before the first of January of any school year. [C.G.S.* Sec. 10-15c]
- Physical Examination Form - completed and signed by the child's doctor, dated within 12 months of the date of entry into school
- Proof of Residency - per Board of Education Policy 5270; which includes a valid lease or mortgage.
